In Episode 32, we review Terence Crawford's dominant win over Amir Khan in their Welterweight championship fight that happened April 20th in Madison Square Garden. Did Khan "quit" in the 6th round to avoid further onslaught from Crawford? Crawford is now 3-0 in his current division at 147, successfully defending his WBO title for the 2nd time. Given the lackluster ending for a PPV event, Bob Arum will have some challenges making future PPV fights for Crawford that don't involve Errol Spence Jr. We also review the Womens Middleweight unification championship fight between Claressa Shields and Christina Hammer. We assess Shields performance in capturing all the titles in the Middleweight division.
Episode 31 serves as a special rewind to our August 2018 interview with Claressa Shields (8-0, 2 KOs). In anticipation of her 4/13/2019 Middleweight Championship unification match with Christina Hammer (23-0-1NC, 10 KOs), we present the extracted interview with Shields off of Episode 18. Following the interview is an early preview of Shields vs Hammer by panelist Cortney Tanner and Frontproof Media's Joseph Correa. Hammer is poised to be a formidable opponent for Shields. Hammer brings to the ring more experience and a high level of technical skill. The younger Shields is confident she will rise to the occasion come April 13th in Atlantic City.
